Enter one of our charity walks, Race for the Cure, Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend.

Sometimes, bowing to peer pressure is not all bad.  I’m not saying you should jump off the bridge with your friends, or get married in Vegas just because two other guys did it, but there are occasionally positives.  Such was the case on Mother’s Day weekend, 2009, when I was talked into Racing for the Cure in Ottumwa.

I would find it hard to believe there is a man alive who does not enjoy racing.  Sure, many may say they don’t like open-wheel or NASCAR, but going fast, competing against buddies, and shiny cars?  What isn’t cool about that?
